I’m a visual brand developer, designer, and art director currently based in Aruba. My specialty is collaborating with cultural and artistic projects, individuals, and organizations that promote gender equality and human and LGBTQ rights. I work with local and international clients to turn their ideas into living brands.

Carla Garcia (b. 1997, Venezuela) is a visual brand developer, art director, and (digital) visual artist based in Aruba. She specializes in the conceptualization and development of visual expressions combining media such as graphic design, illustration, photography, video, and collage.
Garcia was the co-founder of the first visual brand agency in Aruba in 2019 and has worked in the past with brands such as Pepsi, L'oreal, Stampwallet, and Giannis Group. Lately, her focus has been on collaborating with cultural and artistic projects, visual artists, and not-for-profit organizations that align with her personal ideals such as gender equality, and human and LGBTQ rights.

this is what I do

I have been in charge of the conceptual and visual development of corporate, cultural, and personal brands. I love to play with metaphors and art to create a clear visual identity and message for my clients

I am an illustration enthusiast. The many possibilities of illustration allow me to tailor-make visual elements that help my clients stand out

Art Direction

My work in art direction covers pre and post-production of visual projects. I help conceptualize and develop the concepts and sets, planning and directing a wide range of visual projects: music videos, photoshoots, and graphic storytelling

I love to think of new, smarter and more eco-conscious ways of creating packaging. I have been in charge of developing concepts from scratch for the packaging of various brands.

Web Design & UI Desing

From web design to digital product design, I focus on the user experience without forgetting the importance of the aesthetic appeal

Interior Design

I have had the opportunity to create spaces for restaurants but also booths, buses, and stands, by myself or in collaboration with architects.
